faq

  • How do I book a service?
Simply fill out one of our booking forms outlining your preferred dates, approximate participant number and we will get back to you as soon as possible!
  • Is there an age limit?
We recommend an age limit of 6-7 for kids birthday parties. Young children tend to rush and be too excited to stop and paint in favour of eating lollies!
  • Do you have a current working with children certificate?
Sarah is a registered teacher with a Masters of Education and Caroline has also finished 3.5 years of her teaching degree. Any staff member present will always have current certificates, for your peace of mind.
  • What do I need to do?
All we need is at least 50cm in front of each participant for a table easel and canvas. Trestle tables are fine. You provide the space and tables and we take care of the rest! We prefer a shaded spot, away from the elements (like wind) for best results!
  • What does the event include?
We provide: Easels Canvasses Palettes Paint Brushes Tablecloths Aprons Large Easel Example painting Paint mixing book Jars/Cups and up to 3 hours of guided art facilitation.
  • Can we hold the event outside or in a park?
We prefer to be in sheltered areas, away from the wind as it can wreak havoc with the canvasses (we've had a few cases of flying art!) If you intend to hold an art event in a public park, you must have council approval, access to water, toilets and shelter.
  • How much is it?
Art event prices can vary depending on materials needed. Kids parties start at $550 + any appropriate travel costs or extra participants above 10 artists. Adult / Corporate events start at $75 per head, with a discount of 10% available for upfront payments for large events over 50 people. Booking deposit required is $250 to save your date. Balance remaining is due 14 days prior to event.
